The core promise

Your gut is personal. Your guidance should be too.

A device that reads how your gut responds to food — and tells you what to eat today.

Whiff is a small breath device built on real gut science. It measures how your body responds to the food you eat, and over time builds a picture of your gut that's uniquely yours — so it can tell you how your gut is doing today, and what to eat next.

01

Measure your real response

Whiff reads how your gut actually responds to each meal — real signals from your body, not guesses or generic food charts.

02

Build your personal picture

Meal after meal, Whiff's models learn what's normal for you, building an understanding of your gut that gets sharper the longer you use it.

03

Know what to eat today

Each day, Whiff shows you how your gut is doing and what to eat next — shaped by your own patterns, your goals, and how you're feeling.

Whiff keeps the science in the background and gives you the part you can actually use.

How does Whiff work?

You breathe into the small device for about ten seconds, then log what you ate and how you felt. Whiff matches the two together and, over time, learns how your body handles different foods. Once it knows your patterns, it tells you what to eat next.

What does the device actually measure?

When food isn't fully absorbed, the bacteria in your gut break it down and release tiny traces of gas onto your breath. Those traces only come from your gut — your own cells don't make them. Whiff reads them, so instead of guessing how a meal affected you, it can actually see it.

Is this a medical test or a diagnosis?

Neither. Whiff isn't a diagnosis and doesn't replace your doctor. It simply shows how your gut responds to the food you eat, so you can make better everyday choices about what works for you and what doesn't.

How is this different from a lab breath test?

A lab test is a single, expensive snapshot taken in a clinic on one day. Whiff sits at home with you and keeps learning meal after meal, across real food and real life — so you end up with a personal map of your own body, not one reading from one morning.

How long before I see my results?

Your food responses start showing up from the very first day. It takes about a week of normal use for Whiff to settle into your personal baseline — once it does, the picture only gets sharper the more you use it.

Do I have to log every meal?

Logging is quick — a tap or two for what you ate. The more you log early on, the faster Whiff learns you. And it won't jump to conclusions: it stays quiet until it sees the same pattern repeat, so you can trust what it tells you.
